QUAL: What motivates you to join the QUAL360 APAC conference, and what is the core message of your talk?

Fabian: I am thrilled to join the QUAL360 APAC conference, especially at a time when the industry is becoming increasingly focused on the intersection of data, artificial intelligence, and in-depth qualitative research. These transformative technologies are reshaping the research landscape, offering both challenges and unparalleled opportunities. As a leader in the FI Industry, we see the intersection of Data, AI and Analytics being critical to the success of our clients.

QUAL: How has this impacted your own work and your organisation?

Fabian: It is less about impact but more it has enabled. By providing access to better data, implementing robust data governance practices, and leveraging advancements in artificial intelligence and industry analysis, we have been able to refine our methodologies and deliver more insightful, actionable results. These tools and practices have transformed challenges into opportunities, ensuring we remain at the forefront of qualitative research innovation.

QUAL: Apart from work, what can delegates at the event talk to you about? Do you have any particular personal interests, hobbies or extracurricular activities and engagements?

Fabian: I’m an avid traveller along with my wife, and we have a rule that a minimum of 2 trips per year, no matter what must happen. In addition, I love wine and have been collecting for around 10 years, not necessarily to store but rather to store and drink on a regular basis.
