🚀 Just wrapped up the incredible #MRMW conference in Berlin. 2 days packed with interesting presentations and conversations.

Here are my personal top takeaways:
1️⃣ Context is King! 👑 Numbers & insights without context are like emojis without captions — open to wild interpretations! Let’s embrace the cultural context that shapes consumer behaviour and answers as well as data. Let’s use it to paint a broader picture.

2️⃣ Quality Data: The VIP of Insights! 🌟 Move beyond the surface of too long and unengaging surveys. To truly understand consumption reality, you have to dig deeper and thing of new ways to get close and explore your customers everyday life. Don’t just ask questions; craft an experience that reveals genuine behaviors and preferences. Elevate your insights game!

3️⃣ AI: The Cool Kid on the Block! 🤖 Witnessing the industry’s openness to experimentation and the willingness to embrace potential failures in the pursuit of cutting-edge AI-supported approaches was inspiring.
Here’s to the bold spirit of exploration—let’s navigate the uncharted territories together!

It was such a joy opening the MRMW Europe 2023 Conference today, but even more fun was learning from brand leaders and chatting to innovators with great ideas.

Bet you see a lot of ‘here’s 5 things I learned post, so here’s my honest (promise) take on these events.

😎 When brand leaders say they don’t have it all worked out and are still learning, it is SO REFRESHING.
🎤 Don’t hide behind the podium, the whole stage is yours. And for the love of presenting, please don’t just read your notes.
📚 Coming to a conference just to learn more about a field is highly underrated.
🔮 Most people still don’t know what foresight is.
