Happy Thinking People & Qual360 Supporting the Tunaweza Project

Happy Thinking People and Qual360 have teamed up for the networking reception during the Qual360 Europe event on February 18th. Besides fun and drinks, this evening will also provide a special opportunity to support a charitable cause, the TanzanianTunaweza Project” that Happy Thinking People has been supporting for several years. Edward Appleton shares more of HTP’s involvement below.

We’re looking forward to presenting at the Qual360 conference next February in Berlin – we’ll be presenting a case study with our wonderful Electrolux client and their technology partner Vobling, focusing on how the latest in Virtual Reality worked for us in a usability study, and how VR and classical qual methods helped us achieve both efficiencies and effectiveness.

So we’re excited. Qual360 has been a consistent source of insight and inspiration for us – excellent client-side presentations, lots of opportunities to learn and make new connections.

The 2020 conference is a little bit different for us though.

We’re hosting a networking event at the end of day 1 at our offices in central Berlin and will be displaying – and selling – products from Tunaweza.

Tunaweza is a project in Tanzania (tunawezatz.org) that helps youngsters with disabilities learn life and professional skills – including crafting – so they can make items to sell, with the aim of becoming self-sufficient. H/T/P has been supporting the project since 2010.

The beauty of what they make is impressive, the designs evocative – you can see some items here: aprons, pencil case holders, patchwork bags, oven mitts. We hope to have these and more in the evening.

It’s a humbling reminder that everybody has talent.

All the proceeds from what is sold will be given directly back to the project.

We hope to see you there.
