Winners of the 2016 MRMW Mobile Research Awards Announced

The 2016 MRMW Awards are a celebration of innovation and excellence in the market research industry and aim to recognize the hard work of individuals who have achieved significant breakthroughs in mobile market research. The award ceremony was held on July 19th at the 6th edition of MRMW North America conference in Fort Worth, Texas.

Field Agent, Lumi, Kantar Health and MDI were amongst the winners of the 2016 MRMW Awards. Meghan Ludvigsen of Verizon was awarded the coveted Mobile Researcher of the Year trophy.

Meghan Ludvigsen was praised by the MRMW Advisory Board and judges for her continued effort to make mobile a central part of client’s research agendas. The Board specifically highlighted her efforts across different companies and industries.

Field Agent walked away with the prestigious Mobile Agency of the Year Award for its continued efforts in driving mobile market research. COO Mark Yount accepted the award, thanking the Field Agent’s partners and clients for their continued trust in the company’s mobile platform.

Nielsen won the Best New Technology award for its new solution in measuring advertising in mobile apps. Madhusudhan Reddy, one of the inventors leading the pilot study, accepted the award on behalf of the entire team.

Lumi and Kantar Health jointly won the Best Use of Mobile Technology category for their efforts to create a mobile survey application that leverages the ubiquity of smartphones and innovations in mobile health (mHealth) technology to gain greater insights into the patient experience.

The Award for Best Mobile Qualitative was awarded to 2020 Research for its week long study on women’s baking activities, using a variety of media, including pictures and video, to document the participants’ experiences.

KFC Thailand and MDI won the prestigious award for Best Client-Supplier Collaboration. Busaban “Hannah” Pratumvinit, KFC thanked MDI for their support throughout the project that was designed as an ongoing research program to measure KFC’s performance and identify opportunities for growing both market share and share of wallet. Ryan Versfeld accepted the Award for MDI, highlighting that the mobile community approach enabled MDI to engage customers effectively and at the same time create faster results.
